Euless Jr. Stars Partner With Little Rookies Program

Dec 30, 2015

The Euless Jr. Stars junior hockey team is making their presence known in the eyes of the youth in the Dallas, TX community.

The Jr. Stars have gotten involved with the little rookies youth program that was started by Mike Modano and the Dallas Stars to expose not only kids at a young age to hockey but also their parents. The program is very unique for a great reason: It's 100% free of charge to anyone wanting to participate.  From the ice time to all the equipment, the Stars provide everything.  One of the major drawbacks to the youth picking up the sticks and sliding on the skates for the first time is the price tag that comes along with playing the game.  Modano and the Stars have given the kids and their parents in the community the opportunity to take that next step forward and seeing what the game of hockey is all about.

The little rookies youth program is held at all the Dr. Pepper Star Center across from the metroplex throughout the year.  For more information about the program follow the link below.
