It was a great weekend for the Euless Jr. Stars as they started 2016 with a road sweep over South division rival the Louisiana Drillers.
Kayne Fedor, forward from Adelaide, AUS, contributed in both wins over the weekend. On Saturday Fedor was able to provide an assist and amped his production up on Sunday with a goal and two more assists for the weekend. In his second season with the organization, Fedor is having his best offensive production contributing 15 goals and 17 assists thus far on the season.
Triston Wilson, forward from Midlothian, TX, had all of his production on the weekend come in one big chunk in a single game. Scratch that, a single period. When Euless needed some offensive production the most in Saturday's contest, Wilson stepped up and shot his way to a hat trick in less that 20 minutes of playing time and ultimately led the Jr. Stars to a 6-2 victory. Wilson has put together an 18/4/22 stat line through the second weekend in January.
