Mielnicki Signs with JR Stars

Jun 2, 2015

June 2, 2015 (Dallas) – The JR Stars announced today the signing of Cherry Creek High School netminder Brady Mielnicki for the 2015/16 season. The 5'10", 165 lb. Mielnicki backstopped the Cherry Creek (CO) Bruins to the National Championship title in April. JR Stars' GM Reggie Hall made the announcement earlier today.

Brady had a tremendous regular season posting a 17-4 record for the Bruins with a GAA of 1.9 and a save percentage of .915. In the Colorado HS State Championships he posted a 4-0 record allowing just six goals in four games. His GAA was 1.27 with a save percentage of .956. At the High School National Tournament Brady was a perfect 6-0 with a 1.55 GAA and a .935 save percentage.

Mielnicki was rewarded for his contributions with selection to the Colorado All State HS team as voted on by the high school coaches.

"In our first two seasons in Dallas we have been fortunate with our goaltending and there is a strong legacy here of having exceptional netminders. Brady gives us a chance to continue that tradition" said JR Stars GM Hall.

The JR Stars will conduct Main Camp in Dallas on August 14-16.
