Sheridan quickly followed with a goal at 10:05 with a helper from Matthews. Smith scored a goal at 16:38 with assists from Nosov and Campbell. Kesling quickly followed with a goal at 17:11 with a helper from fellow Jr. Stars forward Schulz. Regino quickly followed with a goal at 18:48 with assists from his linemates, Vukasin and Morgan.
In the third, Watzka netted a goal at 18:16 with helpers from Dolese and Bloemer.
Mid Cities’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Ange as he stopped 13 of the 15 shots he faced. Ange’s counterpart, Clifford, also had a big night, managing to stop 52 of 58, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Mid Cities Jr. Stars’ record to (8-4-0-0).
