It’s a long way from Euless, Texas to Plymouth, Michigan. For an opportunity to play in front of hundreds of scouts, however, the commute is well worth it. Bryce Harrison, Nick Sheridan, and William Rooney all made the trip North for a shot to impress those scouts.
Rooney got in the scoring column first with an assist in Monday afternoon’s game. Harrison followed it up with a goal for the Silver team Tuesday afternoon.
While Rooney and Harrison were suiting up in silver Sheridan was sporting the red for the U18 Selects team. Like Rooney, Sheridan came away with one assist on the weekend.
All-in-all it was a successful showing for the Jr. Stars at top prospects. Next up for the Jr. Stars is a home series with the Texas Jr. Brahmas. The series is set to begin – in Euless – Friday night at 8pm CT.
