Jun 15, 2015

June 15, 2015 (Dallas) The JR Stars announced another signing today as high scoring Left Winger Jack Longenecker has committed to the team. Longenecker, (6'2", 175lbs) played last season with Bishop Machebeuf High School in Denver. JR Stars GM Reggie Hall made the announcement this afternoon.

In an abbreviated campaign last season Longenecker appeared in just four games but notched 9G, 1A and 10P. In the prior two season Jack appeared in 33 games and posted 30G, 41A for 71P. In three seasons he also logged 107 minutes in penalties.

"We had seen him play last year so he was on our radar already" said GM Hall. "When his name resurfaced this Spring we knew we wanted to try and get him into Dallas. Jack is a gritty, hard working left winger that is never at a loss for what to do with the puck when it is on his stick. We needed to add more scoring and he definitely brings that to us" continued Hall.

Longenecker is the second Colorado player signed this off season.
