JR Stars' Winger Gentry Returns

Jun 10, 2015

June 10, 2015 (Dallas) The JR Stars announced today the fan favorite Wyatt Gentry (6'0", 180lbs) will return for his second season with the team. Gentry, who played the majority of his youth hockey with the JR Stars youth program brings his hard hitting, rugged style back to the team for the 2015/16 campaign. JR Stars' GM Reggie Hall made the announcement.

In his rookie year Gentry appeared in 47 games and potted 8G, 7A (15P). With his high energy and physical game he also notched 100 minutes in penalties.

"Wyatt plays with an edge all over the ice, possess a cannon for a shot and is still one of the fastest guys in our League", said Hall. "He accelerates as fast as anyone at this level and if he gets a step he is gone. Like many players the rookie season is an adjustment and Wyatt just got stronger as the season moved a long. We are looking for big things from him this season" continued Hall.

The JR Stars will conduct Main Camp in Dallas on August 14-16.  Registration is now open by clicking the "TRYOUT" tab.
