June 15, 2015 (Dallas) The JR Stars continued their push to add more balanced scoring for next season with the signing of West Bloomfield, Michigan High School Junior Drew Warnecke. The 6', 180lb Forward fills a scoring need the JR Stars have with the loss of several key offensive players to college. The announcement was made by JR Stars' GM Reggie Hall.

Warnecke appeared in 26 games last season with West Bloomfield and notched 10G, 20A and 30P. He had several multi-point nights and was held off the scoresheet in just eight games.

"We like his tenacity and work ethic" said Hall, "he put up some pretty stout numbers as a Junior last season and it will be fun to see what he can accomplish with that season under his belt". Warnecke becomes the second Michigan born player to Tender with the JR Stars this Spring.

The JR Stars are an affiliate of the Coulee Region Chill (NAHL) and will conduct Main Camp in Euless, Texas August 14-16. For information or to register please visit www.starsjrhockey.com
