The Stars announced today the signing of Connor Perisho (D) from Urbandale, Iowa. The 6', 175 lb Perisho played last season with the Des Moines Capitals. He was first spotted by Stars' Midwest Scout Eric Thompson. "He is an excellent skater, responsible in his own end and brings an offensive flair. Connor is capable of playing up or back but he is extremely dangerous when he starts the play from deep in his own zone." said Thompson.
Last season with the Caps Perisho scored 21G, had 26A (47P) and logged 125 minutes in penalties proving a willingness to get his nose dirty when needed.
Connor came to the Stars' free Pre-Draft Camp in May where he impressed the coaches with his confidence and ability. He was tendered on the final day of camp.
