The JR Stars announced yesterday that top scoring forward Kayne Fedor will indeed be playing for Team Australia this month at the IIHF World Junior Championships in Spain. Fedor, the 18 year old from Adelaide, AUS will donn the national team sweater for the second straight year.

In just 21 games with the JR Stars Fedor has notched 5 G, 16 A and 21 points. His scoring will be missed during the entire month of December as Fedor plays in Spain but the team recognizes the incredible honor this represents for any player. Head Coach Jason Deitsch said, "players at every level wish for that opportunity to play for their country and the JR Stars are happy to support any player that gets that chance."

The JR Stars wish Kayne a great tournament.
