Texas uses early goal to top Euless, 2-0

Texas took the lead against Euless in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-0 victory.

Texas took over the lead for good with a goal by Kyle Galloway at 9:51 in the first period. Texas had gained a power play chance when Triston Wilson was whistled for holding. Dakota Davis assisted on the tally.

Texas was led by Galloway, who racked up one goal.

Texas stifled Euless\’ power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Euless was unable to stop Texas from sending pucks towards the net, and Texas eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Texas also got a goal from Victor Ekk as well. More assists for Texas came via Jacob Elrod, George Hansen, and Noah Klinsky, who each chipped in one.

Brandon Perrone recorded 16 saves for Texas. Texas incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Euless\’ Thomas Bailey stopped 31 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Euless incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
