Morgan quickly followed with a goal at 8:13 with helpers from his teammates Smith and Morgan. Hale scored a goal at 17:08 with an assist from Vukasin.
During the second period, Hutton answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 1:19 with a helper from his linemate Smith. Alspaugh answered for the Drillers with a goal at 7:13. Vukasin deposited a goal at 13:38 with assists from Alspaugh and Jorajuria.
In the third period, Hutton answered for the Jr. Stars with a goal at 10:25 with a helper from defenseman Campbell. Vukasin answered for Louisiana with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:16 with an assist from defenseman Dolese. High answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 17:39 with helpers from his linemates, Sheridan and Hutton.
