The Jr. Stars struggled against the Ducks 8-1 in home game

Nick Vanwinkle came up big, stopping 24 of 29 shots throughout the game. The Point Mallard Ducks took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Jesse Stepp and never looked back.

Matt Goodman delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jesse Stepp contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

During the first period, Campbell opened the scoring for Mid Cities with a goal at 0:37 with a helper from Sheridan. Kendall answered for the Ducks with a goal at 3:40 with helpers from teammates Udris and Polcaro. Stepp quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:11 with assists from Chun and Udris. Udris put in a goal at 16:41 with helpers from Chun and Stepp.

During the second, Goodman deposited a goal at 9:50 with assists from Laplante and Horton. Goodman netted a goal at 13:36 with helpers from Laplante and Chun. Chun scored a goal at 16:27 with assists from Green and Goodman.

In the third, Trombly put in a goal at 1:11 with helpers from Stepp and Udris. Kelly deposited a goal at 8:12 with assists from Udris and Green.

This loss brings the Mid Cities Jr. Stars’ record to (26-13-1-0).
